Ekopod on Escape to the Country! Our Geodome Peswara Makes a TV Appearance

You may have already spotted it, but this update is a little later than planned!

The episode aired while I was on honeymoon (a wonderful excuse for being offline for a while), and as soon as we got back it was straight into the half-term rush. So, I’m finally getting around to sharing some exciting news…

Our beautiful geodome, Peswara, recently appeared on Escape to the Country.

Before anyone gets the wrong idea—no, we’re not selling Ekopod!

Peswara featured as an example of the unique places visitors can stay while exploring the beautiful Bude area and North Cornwall. It was such a lovely to see our little corner of the countryside featured alongside some of the incredible landscapes and businesses that make this part of Cornwall so special.

If you’d like to spot Ekopod, you’ll find Peswara appearing at around the 26-minute mark.

A love letter to North Cornwall

Even if you’re not looking out for us, the episode is well worth watching. It captures exactly why we love living and working here.

There are sweeping coastal views, beautiful countryside and several fantastic local businesses. It also features two places that regular guests will know I’m always recommending:

  • Warbstow Bury – one of Cornwall’s best-preserved Iron Age hill forts, with incredible panoramic views and a real sense of history.
  • Bude Sea Pool – probably no surprise to anyone who’s stayed with us! It’s one of my favourite places for a swim, whatever the season, and somewhere I encourage so many of our guests to visit.

Watching the programme reminded me just how lucky we are to call this part of Cornwall home.

Stay in Peswara

If seeing Peswara on television has tempted you, we’d love to welcome you here in person.

Our geodomes offer a peaceful escape from everyday life. Nestled amongst nature, they’re designed for slowing down—whether that’s soaking in the outdoor bath beneath the stars, listening to birdsong with your morning coffee, or ending the day around the fire pit.

They offer all the comforts you need while still giving you that feeling of being wonderfully immersed in the landscape. It’s exactly why so many guests return year after year.

Have you watched it?

If you do catch the episode, let me know what you think—and whether you managed to spot Peswara!

We always love hearing from guests, especially when they’re discovering new favourite places in North Cornwall.

Hopefully we’ll see you at Ekopod soon.
