We are delighted to announce that Ekopod has won Silver in the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Tourism Awards for Best New Business 2019. In our 2nd year we only just scraped into the category time wise! The awards celebrate the quality and success of the wide range of tourism businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This year a record 207 entries were received, whittled down to 77 finalists.
We couldn’t be happier to receive this after 2 years of running Ekopod it’s a honour (and surprise) to be recognised among all the wonderful new tourism businesses in the county. It’s been a great year for Ekopod on the awards front as we also received Commended in the Glamping category in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Tourism Awards and got Commended in the South West Tourism Awards for New Business which encompasses Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Dorset, Devon Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We were also a finalist in the Western Morning New’s Business awards for Micro Business. Thank you so much to all you that have made the last 2 years so great and supported us in these wins!
We’re also delighted that some of our favourite recommendations were also recognised in the Cornwall Tourism awards with Boscastle Farm Shop our favourite breakfast venue winning Gold for Café/ Tearoom of the Year and Bude Canoe experience winning Gold for Learning Experience of the Year. Here’s hoping 2020 will be as successful!
