One of the most important things we want to do here is make our site as wildlife friendly as possible.

Ekopod was established with just two glamping pods in 2010, when glamping was just getting started, we believe it was the first site to have a Geodesmic dome in the UK.

Given the rumours of a potential autumn lockdown we just wanted to reassure all out guests that if another lockdown happens all bookings will be fully refunded or moved to alternative dates depending on your preference. 

We are delighted to say that we won Gold in the Glamping Business of The Year category and Bronze in the Wildlife Friendly Business of the Year.

In light of the recent government lockdown announcement until ‘mid February’ we are keeping a close eye on when we are allowed to open again. 

We’re so relieved to announce that we’re in tier one and therefore will be reopening 4th December. 

Following the announcement by the government, sadly Ekopod will be closed from November 5th – December 2nd. 

One of the changes we’re making for when we re-opening is removing the physical guidebook/ information book on Ekopod from our pods. So we have replaced it with an online version.
