New Wellness Retreat in Cornwall
There is a new wellness retreat in Cornwall! Well maybe not completely new, as from the moment Ekopod was born, our vision has been simple; to create space for real rest and wellness. Somewhere you can slow down, breathe deeply, and disconnect from the pace of everyday life. No screens. No schedules. Just stillness, nature, and the time to reconnect with yourself and your surroundings. Our guests have always come here to slow down, breathe deeply, and escape the noise of everyday life. However, we now have a wild spa area to compliment and enhance this experience.
We’re very excited to introduce the newest addition to Ekopod: our Wild Spa – a new space on site designed to deepen your connection with the landscape and enhance your Ekopod experience. Tucked into a secluded corner, surrounded by woodland and birdsong, the spa is built to blend into nature, not compete with it. At its heart is a beautiful cedar Sauna. The heat soothes your muscles, opens your pores, and calms your mind. There’s something deeply primal about sitting in silence as steam rises and the world outside falls away!
What to Expect
Each spa session gives you exclusive use of the spa island for four hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the space at your own pace. Here’s a glimpse of what your experience might look like:
Step into Nature
You start by walking through the woods—follow the path behind the pizza oven and down the valley across the bridge onto our spa island. Turn on the sauna and relax in our Cacoon hanging pod under the trees.
Did you know that spending time in nature can reduce anxiety and boost your immune system? The Japanese practice of forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku) has been proven to lower blood pressure, improve mood, and enhance mental clarity.

Warmth & Wellness
At the heart of the Wild Spa is a beautiful sauna, overlooking our stream, hand-built on site by the skilled team at Kernow Springs.
Once it’s warm, shower under the copper head and treat yourself to the Embrace the Day Body Scrub. This beautiful scrub from Made for Life Organics is made in Cornwall. Then settle into the cedar-scented heat of the sauna. Pour water over the coals, feel the steam rise, and let it all melt away.
The Cold Plunge
When you’re ready, step outside and experience the invigorating power of contrast. Drench yourself under the bucket shower, dip your feet in the stream, or simply cool down in the open air. This hot-cold ritual boosts circulation, energy, and mood—leaving you feeling recharged.

Rest & Renew
Rinse off with our beautiful Made for Life spa products, then wrap yourself in a robe and light the fire pit. Choose from a menu of Wild Cornish Teas, made in St Agnes, and settle in for a tranquil moment.
From the uplifting “Glow” tea to the calming rosehip and nettle blend, each tea is created to nourish and ground you, using herbs and flowers grown right here in Cornwall.
A Different Kind of Luxury
The Wild Spa is simple by design, fire, water, wood and sky. We provide everything you need—from towels to spa products, robes to tea—and invite you to make it your own. Our Wild Spa is an extension of what Ekopod is all about: slowing down, switching off, and reconnecting with what matters.
